HOW IT WORKS
Drop in up to 2,500 English words: an essay, a report, an article or an email.
Keep Smart coverage to touch only high-risk sentences, or run a full-draft pass. Pick up to three detectors to focus on.
Rewritten sentences are highlighted. Compare before and after, then copy or download the version you want.
WHY PASSLAB
Low-risk sentences stay word for word. The rewrite goes where the AI risk is, not across the whole draft.
Names, numbers, quotes and citations are checked during the rewrite, so the facts your argument rests on stay put.
Open Changes to see each rewritten sentence highlighted. No guessing what moved.
See an AI risk estimate for Turnitin, GPTZero (beta), Originality.ai and nine more, before and after the rewrite.
If a rewrite would make the draft worse, PassLab keeps your original and tells you why.
Results and their originals are saved to My drafts, so you can return, compare or continue later.
EVERY CHANGE SHOWN
Switch to Changes and every rewritten sentence is highlighted. Untouched sentences stay word for word, so checking the edits takes minutes, not a full reread.

SCORES YOU CAN ACT ON
Before and after estimates for the whole draft, plus a sentence map that shows which passages still read as AI-written. Pick one and run another pass on just that part.

YOU STAY IN CONTROL
Choose Smart coverage or a full-draft pass, and pick up to three detectors to prioritise. PassLab still estimates AI risk across the rest.

ONE DRAFT. TWELVE ESTIMATES.
Estimates come from PassLab's own models, not from the detectors themselves, and official results can differ. PassLab is not affiliated with any detector listed.
WHO IT IS FOR
Smooth out stiff, formulaic passages in essays and reports while your sources and figures stay exactly as you wrote them.
Make AI-assisted drafts read like a person wrote them, without losing product names, numbers or the point you were making.
An AI humanizer rewrites text so it reads less like the output of a language model. AI-generated drafts tend to share habits: even sentence lengths, predictable transitions, stock phrases and an over-tidy structure. Detectors look for those patterns, and readers notice them too.
Many humanizers deal with this by paraphrasing everything. That can lower an AI score, but it often breaks the draft: names change, numbers drift, citations disappear and the argument goes soft. You then spend longer fixing the rewrite than you saved.
PassLab works sentence by sentence. It estimates which sentences carry the most AI risk, rewrites those, and leaves the rest alone. During the rewrite it checks the details your argument depends on, and every change is highlighted so you can review it.
The AI risk scores you see are PassLab's own estimates for each detector. They are useful for deciding what to revise, but they are not the detectors' official results, and they describe writing patterns rather than proving who wrote a text.

PassLab is built to avoid that. It rewrites only the sentences that need it, checks names, numbers, quotes and citations as it goes, and keeps your original if a rewrite would make the draft worse.
